My code for google tag manager was erased from header.php and i can not re-enter it. i got message : “Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over http://FTP.”
is it possible to change code in new version or it is not possible?

Could you please mention how did your google tag manager code was erased ? We request you to add any code or customization by creating child theme which protect on theme update ?I entered tagmanager codes in header.php. it was working until recently. then it was erased from header.php. on march 28.

If it is deleted then add again the tagmanager code there is no option to retrieve that code again . But from now create child theme then add any codes.i do not need to retrieve it. i know it. But I can not import code in header.php again. Theme editor doesn’t allow me to. How can I import google tagmanager or google analytics code in this theme?
